The nominees are selected according to the criteria of:

  • IDATE, renown European center for analysis and exchange. Idate operates on the market of telecommunications, of the Internet and audiovisual media since 1977.

  • PYRAMID RESEARCH, London based office for studies and analysis of markets of NTICs. The office is now present in 5 countries, and operates in more than 80 countries in the world.

  • He has developed a strong expertise on networks economy, and on regulation and competition issues in the sector of the telecommunications, both in industrialized and developing countries

  • Observer of African Telecommunication Union
    Secretary General.

  • He is the Secretary General of the African Telecommunication Union since 2004.

  • Prior to being Strategic Business Network Consultant Senior, he was Managing Director of the Telecommunication Agency of Cote d’Ivoire (Abidjan).

  • AKOSSI AKOSSI graduated from the “Ecole Supérieure des Télécommunications” of Paris (France) in 1980, where he got a Diploma of Engineer in Telecommunications. The same year he was in charge of the Research Department of the Telecommunications Head office.

  • His 23 years work experience made him an Expert in : Legislation, Regulation, Management, Network and Services Development and Technical Management Strategy, Technology of Information and Communication Development and Technical Management Strategy.
    Henry CHAINTREUIL
  • In charge of the Best Operator Award

  • Independent consultant, Co-President of Africa Telecom Association Prior to that, he managed several financial companies in Africa, and he has been General Manager of Côte d’Ivoire Telecom. At the moment, his works are centered on the implementation of new technologies in Africa, as well as in the rest of the world. Henri CHAINTREUIL graduated from Polytechnique, and is holder of a Master in Finance.

  • Member of the jury set up by Radio France International (RFI) to reward the best African Internet website 2002.
    Didier COUTTON
  • In charge of the Best Manager or Public Director Award, the Best Initiative to development, the multilateral integration, and the best private company

  • Founder and Manager of the consultancy firm DC2, specialized in technologies of information and communication for services. He works for the United Nations as an NTIC expert Before that, he has spent 13 years in many information system companies such as CAP GEMINI, STERIA, EUROGICIEL, as a Consultant, Unit Director or Regional Director.

  • Didier Coutton holds a MBA, a Master in Finance; he graduated from the Ecole de Commerce of Grenoble and from the University of Lyon (Mechanical Engineering).
